Kris Aquino to return to acting
After months of exclusively seeing Kris Aquino online through her vlogs, she is now preparing for an acting comeback.
As the Queen of all media decided to “migrate” to the world wide web through her webisodes, she announced through her Instagram that her Kris Cojuangco Aquino Productions (KCAP) managing director Nicko Falcis, the one producing her vlogs will now be co-managing her with Cornerstone’s Erickson Raymundo.
“We needed help as our workload began to grow at a hard to believe pace,” Kris wrote.
True to her word, Kris included in her announcement that apart from being committed to her ‘iflix’ original production, she also has two more movies.
“We are all deciding on which to prioritize,” she added.
Kris also mentioned that she had a good relationship with Cornerstone artists when she was still hosting Kris TV, and also with her managing director.
“I felt that as I return to acting, I will benefit most from the guidance and alaga (care) of Erickson and Jeff,” Kris said.
“I’m very grateful that they are gamely taking on the challenge of trying to create a feasible shooting schedule for me because there are already so many digital and endorsement commitments,” she admitted.
Replying to a netizen’s inquiry, Kris was consistent in reiterating her tight schedule. Instagram user @ithewonderboy asked her if she was going to work with Star Cinema.
“If it’s God’s will, it shall fall into place,” Kris wrote back.
She was unable to answer straightly, saying that it will really depend on the story and the timeline. She also said that she does not want to take a project that she cannot fully commit to because of her ‘iflix’ production
“When it comes to shooting a movie – I can’t multitask… hirap ako (I find it difficult) to be bubbly and giggly doing branded webisodes then switch it up the next and get into character,” Kris admitted.
