MANILA — The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) has announced that the Legazpi Airport has been reopened for commercial operations after it was shut down for several days due to the ongoing eruption of the Mayon Volcano.

In an advisory, CAAP said that the airport has resumed operations from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, January 26, 2018.

It will likewise be operational from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting January 27 until 31.

“The Legazpi, Naga and Masbate airports are operational pursuant to visual meteorological conditions (VMCs),” according to the national aviation authority.
