They say that when something ends, something always begins. And for Billy Crawford, a lot will be beginning.

Thirty-five-year-old Billy is facing new beginnings this 2018. Apart from Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT) getting a new season, Billy is having a new co-host, Toni Gonzaga. He is also looking forward to a new life by tying the knot with his fiancée Colleen Garcia. But apart from these blessings so he speaks, Billy is also welcoming another new thing in his life.

After 10 years of being with ALV Entertainment, the R&B star and host transferred under Viva Artists Agency (VAA) on Tuesday.

“Ang pinagsamahan din namin ni (What) Arnold (and I had) is 10 years. He is very helpful and nice to me throughout my journey sa (in) ABS-[CBN] and outside ABS-[CBN] as well,” Billy said in an interview with Push.

“Actually, sa totoo lang, kami ni Arnold (and I), we don’t have a contract together. It’s just verbal agreement,” he added, emphasizing that there was no bad blood between them.

For Billy, “Siguro (Maybe), for me it’s a new beginning. Bago eh (It is new) especially this year na ikakasal na ako (that I will get married),” Billy added.

“There’s a lot of changes in my life where I need to focus on my performance, my work, and also my albums, my songwriting, my production,” he elaborated.

Billy said that it will most likely triple his workload as Viva “is wide and is global.”

“I figured that I needed something new. May kailangan akong baguhin kasi may bagong I need to change something and this is a new chapter na nga sa buhay ko na mangyayari (in my life that will happen). I’m not getting any younger, I’m 35 this year,” he explained.

“A lot of my friends are also from Viva. Nagkataon lang na, siguro the decision that I made was quite drastic, mabilisan (quick),” the It’s Showtime host added.

However, Billy stressed that none of his friends forced or influenced him to join Viva.
