Benhur Luy’s camp can neither confirm nor deny alleged deleted files
MANILA — The camp of Benhur Luy, the prime whistleblower in the pork barrel scam, on Monday said that they can neither confirm nor deny the alleged deleted files in the hard disk drive (HDD) of Luy.
According to Atty. Raji Mendoza, counsel of Luy, his client will address the issues in a court of law in due time.
Mendoza said that the HDD of Luy contains information that is subject of an ongoing fact-finding investigation in the Office of the Ombudsman (Ombudsman).
Because of this, Mendoza said such digital files are considered as confidential in nature.
Included in the alleged deleted files discovered by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) in the HDD of Luy are the files containing the code names: “Tanda”, “Pogi”, “Sexy”, “Commission on Appointments”, “Marcos”, “Sotto”, “Ochoa”, and “Pinoy Requests”.
