Great fear: Wil Dasovich faces another challenge
Youtube vlogger Wil Dasovich shared another struggle about his medical condition.
“I’m not gonna leave you guys hanging like I did last time of that last one. Everything really dramatic; wasn’t my initial intention,” he started. Wil was referring to his vlog when he first revealed that he had cancer. A lot did not like his ending transition and edited effect of drifting into thin air as if implying a parting message.
In a recent video, Wil chose to cut the chase and make his message and upload simpler. Not graced by effects and transitions, the former Pinoy Big Brother housemate faced his camera, a rush of emotions evident in his features.
Entitled “First Time I’ve Been Scared,” Wil described that he could not continue his vlog while the doctor spoke.
“I couldn’t speak. I didn’t… wanna talk or anything. I tried. I lifted the camera up to the last part and… I just…. There’s nothing I had to say,” he said, teary-eyed.
He shared that the good news was that the chemotherapy was working as the tumor in his colon shrunk. However, what bothered the Vlogger was the additional findings.
“They found something in my lungs. They are not really sure what it is. It’s possibly an infection,” he shared.
The 26-year-old repeatedly said that he did not want to talk about it and the news just made him nervous each time he thought of it.
“And the worst part for me is that they can’t rule out if it’s cancer. All I wanna hear is that it’s not cancer and they could not rule that out,” he confessed.
He added that he was shocked, “I thought everything was going so great, I was blazing through chemo.”
Wil admitted that he was feeling good with his progress, as he was consistent with his healthy lifestyle. He had his family, friends, and subscribers that pushed him to continue.
However, the thought of waiting for something uncertain made him anxious and stressed out. Though the chemotherapy was working for his colon, the doctor now advised him to stop it first as they further conduct tests to find out what he has in his lungs.
“I feel great. I feel like I am doing fine. I was very okay. I was just shocked. I wouldn’t say sad. Just scared. Fear. First time I really ever felt like fear, just great fear,” he said.
While Wil’s update revealed a portion of the stress and the thoughts that are filling his being, he chose to end his video on a light note, saying that his next videos will get back to his daily life.
