Trillanes feeds lies vs Duterte: Mayor Sara
DAVAO CITY— Presidential daughter and Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio blasted Senator Antonio Trillanes for feeding lies to the people but she believes the senator cannot present authenticated evidence against President Rodrigo Duterte and their family.
“Hindi niya (Trillanes) magagawa yan, kasi alam niyang nagsisinungaling siya (He cannot do it because he knows that he is lying),” she said.
“Sinabi ko na kung gusto niya ng waiver, ibibigay namin ang waiver sa kanya, sabihin niya muna kung totoo yung listahan niya at kung totoo ang listahan niya sino ang source ng listahan niya (I told him if he wants a waiver, we will give it to him but he should tell us first if the list he revealed in public is authenticated and if it is authenticated who is the source of his list),” she said in an interview Saturday.
Duterte-Carpio said Trillanes kept on blabbing his mouth, telling that he had the list but did not bare if such list was an authentic one.
“Magsabi ka kung nagsisinungaling ka o hindi. Sinungaling kasi (Tell us if you are lying or not. He’s a liar),” she said.
She said that President Duterte already had a waiver and they could give it to Trillanes if he would confirm the authenticity of his list.
The presidential daughter also challenged Trillanes not to hide on his parliamentary immunity in the Senate and prove his accusation against his father.
Meanwhile, she also reiterated her accusation against Senators Trillanes, Kiko Pangilinan and Risa Hontiverors whom she called ‘plastic and opportunist’ in her previous Facebook post.
She said these people were asking the help of the President on their candidacy before despite the issues which still exist up to this time.
But now that her father won the presidency, a lot of criticisms coming from them could be heard always against his father.
“Nasaan na ang credibility ninyo as a person (Where is your credibility as a person?)?” the Davao City mayor asked.
The presidential daughter has lately been vocal on the accusations hurled against his father and family.
Trillanes, earlier, accused the President and their family of being corrupt by having millions of pesos in bank accounts.
