Isolated rainshowers to prevail over PH Thursday: PAGASA
MANILA — Isolated rainshowers will prevail over most parts of the country, state weather agency Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Thursday morning.
The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Mindanao, however, will cause cloudy skies with light to moderate rains and thunderstorms over Caraga and Davao. Flash floods in low-lying areas are possible, according to PAGASA.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country may experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies and isolated rainshowers.
Moderate to occasionally strong winds will blow from south to southwest over extreme northern Luzon, and its coastal waters will be moderate to occasionally rough.
Light to moderate winds coming to these areas will be slight to moderate.
In Mindanao and the rest of Luzon, light to moderate winds will blow from southeast to south with slight to moderate seas.
Meanwhile, tropical storm “Kiko” already left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday evening. As it left PAR, “Kiko” became tropical storm “Guchol” and headed towards Taiwan.
