MANILA, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. expressed his warmest greetings to the public on Sunday in celebration of the annual International Women’s Day and National Women’s Month.
Marcos assured Filipinos that the administration remains steadfast in its commitment to ensuring women’s voices are heard, respected, and empowered in society.
“We will continue to open more spaces for women to lead and to recognize their full potential, so that their strength and vision may guide us in building a more just, inclusive, and hopeful Bagong Pilipinas,” he stated.
In a separate post, the president further amplified his message through a shorter statement in recognizing the essential role of women in nation-building.
“She is a mother, a worker, a leader, and often, she is all of these at the same time. The progress of our nation will always carry the imprint of the Filipina, and she deserves a government that works as hard as she does.”
