University of the Philippines announces LAE testing centers

QUEZON CITY – The Law Aptitude Exam (LAE) is the entrance exam required for student hopefuls wishing to enroll in UP College of Law. It will be assessed alongside the applicant’s academic records and interview results.
The exam itself consists of the following test subjects: communication skills, reading comprehension and vocabulary, critical thinking, and verbal and quantitative reasoning.
This year, the LAE will be held on March 1, 2026, with the deadline for the requirements being January 31, 2026.
The electronic onsite examination will be held in the following cities: Quezon City, Baguio City, Cagayan de Oro City, Cebu City, Davao City, Iloilo City, Naga City (Bicol), and Zamboanga City.
Applicants are required to have finished, or are finishing by the end of the current academic year, at least a four-year bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED).
