Canadian Embassy in PH offers condolences for MV Trisha Kerstin 3 victims

MANILA, Philippines — The Canadian Embassy in the Philippines extended its heartfelt condolences to the loved ones of the individuals killed in the tragic sinking of MV Trisha Kerstin 3 in the coastal waters of Basilan in the southern Philippines.
The passenger ferry carrying over 350 people was on its way to Jolo, Sulu when it capsized on Monday, January 26, nearly 2km from Brgy. Baluk-baluk in Basilan due to technical problems.
Since the search, rescue, and retrieval operations began, there have been a total of 18 people recorded dead, including a 6-month-old baby, as of writing.
