WASHINGTON – A new trove of documents related to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, released Friday, mentions several high-profile Americans, including tech billionaires and advisors to President Donald Trump.

The documents from Epstein’s estate published by Democrats on the House Oversight Committee name the one-time head of Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency, Elon Musk; advisor Steven Bannon; tech mogul Peter Thiel; former Microsoft CEO Bill Gates; and British Prince Andrew.

An entry for Dec. 6, 2014, mentions Musk going to an “island” accompanied by a note that said if “is this still happening?” The day prior, the agenda lists a “tentative” breakfast party with Gates.

Thiel, the billionaire venture capitalist who owns Palantir Technologies, is listed as having a lunch with Epstein on Nov. 27, 2017. Bannon is listed on the schedule for a Feb. 16, 2019 breakfast with Epstein.

Prince Andrew is listed as a passenger on Epstein’s private jet.

“It should be clear to every American that Jeffrey Epstein was friends with some of the most powerful and wealthiest men in the world. Every new document produced provides new information as we work to bring justice for the survivors and victims,” Oversight Democrats spokesperson Sara Guerrero said in a statement.

“Oversight Democrats will not stop until we identify everyone complicit in Epstein’s heinous crimes. It’s past time for Attorney General Bondi to release all the files now,” she added.

The cache of documents is the third received from Epstein’s estate. It includes phone records, copies of flight logs and manifests, financial ledgers and Epstein’s daily schedule, according to the panel’s Democrats. Redactions were made to protect victims’ identities, and a review is ongoing, the group added. (Anadolu)
