The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has issued a commemorative stamp in honor of the late Pope Francis, celebrating his legacy of faith, humility, and service. The special stamp comes in a se-tenant format—two connected designs—highlighting both his spiritual mission and his advocacy for peace, justice, and environmental care.
With only 20,000 copies printed and 1,000 First Day Covers available, the release is limited and especially valued by stamp collectors and the faithful alike. It also serves as a final tribute following Pope Francis’s passing on April 21, 2025.
Postmaster General Luis D. Carlos said the stamp sends “a message of unity, love, and faith that transcends borders,” recognizing a global figure who deeply impacted millions, including many Filipinos.
PHLPost has previously honored Pope Francis through stamps marking major milestones, including his 2015 visit to the Philippines and the anniversary of his papacy.
The Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPost) has released a new stamp honoring a pope known for his humility and outreach around the world. This stamp is now available at the Manila Central Post Office. It continues PHLPost’s goal of using stamps to celebrate important people and events in our heritage.
