Kennon Road closed due to road slip – DPWH

MANILA – Kennon Road in Tuba, Benguet is currently closed to vehicles due to a road slip in one of its portions, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) reported Saturday morning.

In a road advisory, the DPWH-Cordillera said works are ongoing at Camp 2 to open one section to motorists.

“Equipment and manpower have been deployed to clear stockpiled materials along the road in order to make the section one lane passable,” the DPWH said.

The department advised the public to take the Marcos Highway and Asin-Nangalisan-San Pascual Road as alternative routes.
