Two people were hospitalized after they were stabbed in an Inuvik apartment building earlier this week, RCMP say.

Police arrested a woman in connection with the stabbings.

Though police did not identify her, court records show Lucy Thrasher has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of assault with a weapon.

Police said they were called to an apartment building residence in the early morning hours of March 18.

Two males were taken to the hospital in Inuvik. One was released from the hospital, while the other was med-evacuated to Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife.

The woman remains in custody. Her next court appearance is April 2.
