GMA Network’s international flagship channel, GMA Pinoy TV, welcomes 2024 with its new theme song, “Global Pinoys,” set to be unveiled this Sunday in the noontime musical variety show “All-Out Sundays.”

Talented, resilient, and determined—these are some of the characteristics that define Global Pinoys around the world, as encapsulated in the new GMA Pinoy TV theme.

The newest theme vividly captures the essence of how Filipinos celebrate and proudly promote Philippine heritage through diverse festivities organized and participated in by GMA Pinoy TV. From showcasing traditional folk dances like the “tinikling” and hosting pageants that celebrate world-class Filipina beauty to savoring streetside gastronomic delights, the new theme song beautifully portrays the rich tapestry of Filipino culture. It also pays homage not only to the excellence of Global Pinoys but also to the Filipinos’ unbreakable spirit and togetherness as a nation.

The GMA Pinoy TV 2024 theme song will have a music video that showcases some of the country’s biggest names in entertainment, news, and public affairs, led by Kapuso Primetime King and Queen Dingdong Dantes, Marian Rivera, Alden Richards, Jennylyn Mercado, Julie Ann San Jose, Barbie Forteza, Ruru Madrid, Mel Tiangco, Vicky Morales, and Jessica Soho.

In addition to featuring Kapuso stars, the song vividly captures the essence of how Filipinos celebrate and proudly promote Philippine heritage through diverse festivities organized and participated in by GMA Pinoy TV.

The GMA Pinoy TV theme song, “Global Pinoys,” will be performed on the AOS stage this Sunday, January 28, by The Clash alumnus Power Diva Jessica Villarubin and Kapuso Soul Balladeer Garrett Bolden with global Pinoy guests from US, Canada, and UAE.

Season three Grand Champion Jessica is the voice behind the theme songs for the drama series “Prima Donnas” and “Nagbabagang Luha,” and is a member of Queendom, the group of divas known for their musical performances in “All-Out Sundays.”

“I’m so very excited and happy po talaga kasi itong song na ito ay napaka-special talaga dahil inaalay natin ito sa mga kapwa natin Pilipino,” Jessica said.

Garrett, who is a Filipino American and a Global Pinoy himself, is an alumnus of the first season of “The Clash.” The singer is known for penning his own songs and for being part of theatrical productions abroad.

“Sobrang thankful ako for being chosen to sing this song kasi ‘yung father ko rin and ‘yung mom ko, and I have lots of relatives sa ibang bansa kaya medyo malapit ang puso ko sa GMA Pinoy TV,” Garrett added

“Global Pinoys” will be available for streaming on Spotify, iTunes, and other digital platforms beginning February 2.
