Trends on social media for their funny and wacky moments

Female pop group BINI landed on Spotify Philippines’ Viral chart with their latest single “Pantropiko” peaking in the top 30.

The track, which was released last November, has earned 385,000 streams on Spotify and is steadily rising on the chart peaking at no.27.

Aside from their talents and skills, the group dubbed as “nation’s girl group” has gone viral for their fun personality and humor. Their happy vibes have even reached the rising OPM R&B artist Denise Julia who showed love to BINI Jhoanna’s misheard cover of her song “Lackin.” The interaction also spawned a dance cover made by Angela Ken and AC Bonifacio.

Last year, BINI member Stacey got to demonstrate her skills in spoken poetry by channeling her “naghahabol ng words sa essay” student moment in a promo video for UST Paskuhan 2023 concert.

Meanwhile, BINI member Maloi went viral for her unique fan interaction. In a video posted on X, Maloi gave a one thousand peso bill to a fan who jokingly asked her money to travel back home. The video reached more than two million views and was also featured on the Korean entertainment website Koreaboo.

Some of their other funny content also started gaining traction on social media including their “Ang Kampana” challenge and Thai dance relay video which both have over a million views on TikTok.
