Netflix Unveils Star-studded International Cast of The Victims’ Game Season 2
The highly anticipated return of Taiwanese detective series, The Victims Game, will feature the original cast, in addition to a brand new line-up of heavyweight cast members from Taiwan and abroad.
Led by executive producer Hank Tseng, producers Phil Tang and Hsu Kuo-lun, directors David Chuang and Chen Kuan-chung, the first Chinese-language production to be renewed by Netflix will see the return of cast members Joseph Chang (張孝全), Hsu Wei-ning (許瑋甯), Jason Wang (王識賢), and Moon Lee (李沐), and the following new cast additions:
- Taiwanese singer Tarcy Su (蘇慧倫), who returns to acting after an 11-year hiatus, portrays a calm and composed forensic examiner named Hsueh Hsin-ning. This marks Su’s first foray into a genre title.
- Award-winning Japanese actor Dean Fujioka (藤岡靛), a familiar face to many from his appearances in Taiwanese idol dramas such as Goku Dou High School, Corner with Love, and Miss No Good, embarks on his first Netflix production as a prosecutor named Chang Keng-hao, who takes on numerous cases with lead actor Joseph Chang.
- Hong Kong actor Terrance Lau (劉俊謙), who gained recognition in Chinese-language film and television through Beyond the Dream, plays the role of Lin Ming-cheng — the founder of a charity foundation that rescues troubled teenagers.
The second season of The Victims’ Game picks up where the first season left audiences wanting more — with Joseph Chang portraying forensic examiner Fang Yi-jen, who has Asperger’s syndrome, and Moon Lee plays Chiang Hsiao-meng, his daughter. The peaceful life of the two is unexpectedly disrupted by a new murder case. Fang Yi-jen is identified as the prime suspect and risks everything to prove his innocence and reconcile with his daughter.
