Celebrate Filipino-American History Month on GMA Pinoy TV this October!
This October, Filipinos abroad can catch new world-class programs on GMA Pinoy TV, GMA’s flagship international channel.
In time for the celebration of Filipino-American History Month (FAHM), GMA Network proudly presents the next important television milestone that will make history and love for the country a fun learning experience via “Maria Clara at Ibarra.”
The much-anticipated series is top-billed by 2016 Fantasporto International Best Actress and Kapuso Primetime Princess Barbie Forteza as Klay, Asia’s Limitless Star Julie Anne San Jose as Maria Clara, and Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo as Ibarra.
Since its world premiere last October 3, ‘Maria Clara at Ibarra’ has been getting rave reviews from viewers all over the world with its pilot episode rating double its competing show and trended on social media for its impressive cinematography and modern take on the classic Jose Rizal piece ‘Noli Me Tangere.’
Playing equally important roles in the series are Mr. Tirso Cruz III, Ms. Manilyn Reynes, Rocco Nacino, David Licauco, Juancho Trivino, Mr. Juan Rodrigo, Ms. Ces Quesada, Mr. Dennis Padilla, Mr. Lou Veloso, Ms. Gilleth Sandico, Karenina Haniel. Completing the powerhouse cast is the special participation of Andrea Torres.

This October 31, GMA Network and Regal Entertainment continue to captivate the public’s hearts and touch lives with “Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters” following the highly-successful airing of the first two installments Mano Po Legacy series —’The Family Fortune’ and ‘Her Big Boss.’
Mano Po Legacy: The Flower Sisters revolves around four daughters of a taipan from different mothers. The show is bannered by Aiko Melendez as Lily, Thea Tolentino as Dahlia, Angel Guardian as Iris, and Beauty Gonzalez as Violet.
Also a part of the FAHM celebration, “Project Destination” highlights stories of northern indigenous people in a six-part mini-series headlined by Migo Adecer and Kate Valdez. The show, in partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA), tells the love story of Andre, a Filipino-American vlogger, and Loret, the daughter of a political family in Negros. The series, which began airing on October 2, aims to explore and investigate Filipino cultural values.
