Operations back at Changi’s T4 this month: PH budget airlines

MANILA – Those traveling between the Philippines and Singapore via low-cost carriers AirAsia and Cebu Pacific (CEB) should head to Changi Airport Terminal 4 beginning Sept. 15 and 20, respectively.

Changi’s Terminal 4 reopened on Tuesday, after being closed for two years due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On Wednesday, CEB announced that its operations will resume at Terminal 4 beginning Sept. 20, starting with the Manila-Singapore and Cebu-Singapore flights.

Flight 5J 803 from Manila is scheduled at 8:30 p.m. of Sept. 19, arriving Singapore at 12:15 a.m. of Sept. 20. On the same days, flight 5J 547 from Cebu is scheduled at 11:05 p.m., arriving in Singapore at 3 a.m.

CEB advised passengers to be at the Changi Airport at least three hours prior to their flight schedule. For those bound for the Philippines, they are required to register for the One Health Pass.

Meanwhile in an advisory, the AirAsia Group said all its operations to/from Singapore will also return to Terminal 4 starting Sept. 15.

Check-in kiosks, the self check-in baggage system, and the service counter can be found at Row 4, while the group check-in is at Row 3.

AirAsia encouraged guests to perform self check-in, and use the e-boarding pass. Online check-in is available from 14 days up to one hour before the flight schedule, it said.
