#BringDevonHome: Family offers $10,000 reward for information on missing B.C. man since September 2021
Months have passed since Nicholas Goodrick from Langley, British Columbia, reported his son, Devon, missing. He and his family decided to offer $10,000 to anyone who can provide them with more information on the case.
Devon, 26, was last seen on September 25, 2021, at approximately 3:30 a.m. in the area of 192 Street and 28 Avenue in Surrey. The Goodrick family reported him missing to the Langley RCMP on September 27, 2021, and the B.C. Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) started its investigation on October 8, 2021.

IHIT said last year that it “is working closely with Langley RCMP Serious Crime Unit.”
Despite all these developments in the case, as well as the help that the family received from relatives, friends, and connections, as of writing, there is still no further information about Devon’s whereabouts. This prompted them to offer reward money.
In a report by Global News, Nicholas said that they need some kind of “closure” after this “real tough time.”
“I would like to rely upon people that know these people that are out in the community that can’t be named and have them come forward and give information that could open this up so that the family can start to get closure in ways,” he said in the same interview.
He said that they were informed that there are people who can give information but have yet to do so.
In a similar sentiment, his daughter Nikki wrote on a GoFundMe page for Devon that “There are people out there that have the answers and I can’t continue living like this without knowing where my brother is, maybe with a cash reward, it will give people an incentive to come forward.”
Nikki also said that she hopes that Devon is alive and “if he really is gone, we’d like to locate him so he can have a proper place to lay him to rest.” She also hopes that this would lead them to prosecuting the people involved in the disappearance.
“If the reward doesn’t lead to the location of Devon, it will be used for the cost of his celebration of life or funeral expenses if the outcome is that he is really gone,” she ended the GoFundMe note.
Devon is described as Caucasian, 6’4 tall, and approximately 250 lbs. He has short brown hair, green eyes, and light facial hair. He was last seen wearing a full black Hugo Boss tracksuit with a blue stripe.
