Robredo pushes for house-to-house campaign until May 7
MANILA – Presidential aspirant Vice President Leni Robredo has encouraged her supporters and volunteers to persevere in their house-to-house activities until the end of the campaign period on May 7.
“Reminders, 11 days na lang sipagan natin ang house to house, yung dati nating sinasabi tao sa tao, puso sa puso, lakasan ng loob, kumatok (we have 11 days left, let us persevere and work hard, like what we used to say, person to person, heart to heart, have courage, just knocked on people’s doors),” Robredo told her volunteers during a Facebook Live on Tuesday night.
“Pag merong hindi natin kasama buksan lang yung mga puso habaan ang pasensya, magkumbinse sa tamang paraan. Looking forward kami to see all you (If you encounter someone who is not with us, just open your hearts, be patients, convince them in the right way. We are looking forward to see all of you)”, she added.
On Wednesday, Robredo, her running mate Senator Francis ‘Kiko’ Pangilinan, and their senatorial bets are in Bulacan for a proclamation rally.
On Thursday, the group will be in Quezon and Laguna, and in Batangas on Saturday.
“May 6, sa mga kababayan nating Bicolano, nasa Bicol tayo. Yung grand rally ay malamang sa Naga pero meron din tayong grand rally in the afternoon sa Albay tsaka malamang in the morning sa Sorsogon (to all Bicolanos, we will be in Bicol. The grand rally most probably will be in Naga but we also have a grand rally in Albay in the afternoon and maybe Sorsogon in the morning),” Robredo said.
She added that they still have to finalize the last stretch of the campaign period, however, the “miting de avance” on May 7 will be in Metro Manila.
During her Facebook Live, Robredo was seen listing the areas her team and her daughters Tricia, Aika and Jillian had visited.
With barely two weeks remaining before the campaign period ends, Robredo wished they still have more days to be able to visit more places to meet the people.
She said there are provinces that they want to revisit such as Pampanga, Pangasinan, Negros Occidental, Cebu, and Zamboanga del Norte, among others.
