Celebrate National Canadian Film Day on Netflix With 21 New Titles
It’s National Canadian Film Day, so grab a bag of ketchup chips and a can of Canada Dry, and celebrate with Netflix!
Starting today, you can watch even more of your favourite Canadian movies on Netflix. Our members in Canada now have access to 21 new films to help toast the occasion.
All of the movies will also be available as part of a new collection on the service, Celebrating Canadian Films. This collection includes more than 100 movies written by, directed by and starring some of your favourite Canadian talent. Grab the tissues for well-known films such as Café de flore and Away From Her, laugh it up with Bon Cop, Bad Cop and Starbuck or check out one of our new additions like The Art of the Steal or Dr. Cabbie.
And if you’re not sure where to start, watch this video to get some great suggestions from fellow Canadians and Netflix stars Maitreyi Ramakrishnan, Robbie Amell, Marie-Évelyne Lessard and Shamier Anderson.
