Morissette Amon gets married to Dave Lamar
More than a year after their engagement announcement, Morissette Amon and Dave Lamar made public that they are now a married couple.
It was in their “wedding film,” uploaded on YouTube, that Morissette disclosed the event which they had been keeping under wraps “for the past several months.”
“We are so happy to finally officially announce that WE ARE MARRIED!” the caption read.
The video opens with the couple enjoying the picturesque mountain scenery as they sing one of their new originals titled, Up And Away.
Dave and Morissette did not only unite as husband and wife but they also teamed up as artists, releasing an EP under the name “From The Sea.” This is composed of four songs that they wrote, produced, and sang together.
Up And Away is joined by True North, Luna, and Free in the EP, which Morissette said expresses their love story of “now 11 years.” True North and Luna were also played in the wedding film as the couple shares the story of how their love began and now moments from their wedding ceremony.
“What a ride it’s been, Dave Lamar !!!! to the stars and the Moon, I love you my Husband! thank you for being my True North through it all, holding my hand as we journey through this life together. And I can’t wait to keeping going Up and Away and experience it all with you!” Morissette wrote in the caption of the 15-minute video.
Sharing a photo of themselves holding hands, Dave meanwhile wrote in his Instagram post, “The journey has been incredible. I am so overwhelmed and blessed that God lead me to my true north, my best friend, and now my wife!”
“I love you, @itsmorissette. So excited to spend the rest of our lives together!” he continued.
Morissette announced their engagement back in December 2020.
As for From the Sea’s EP, Morissette said people can now listen to it on all digital music platforms.
