Spanish-dubbed Filipino teleseryes Pangako Sa ‘Yo, Dahil May Isang Ikaw, & Bridges of Love now available on ABS-CBN Entertainment Channel on YouTube
ABS-CBN, the leading Filipino media and entertainment company which is also the world’s largest exporter of primetime teleseryes from the Philippines, has made available three Filipino blockbuster TV series dubbed in Spanish on its ABS-CBN Entertainment channel on YouTube for a limited time.
Today, not knowing Tagalog is no longer an excuse not to enjoy award-winning Filipino teleseryes from ABS-CBN for a fast-growing Spanish-speaking audience with an affinity for Filipino dramas.
The 2015 remake of “Pangako Sa ‘Yo” (La Promesa) starring the powerhouse cast of Kathryn Bernardo, Daniel Padilla, Ian Veneracion, Angelica Panganiban and Jodi Sta. Maria can now be viewed with Spanish audio on YouTube. The series had previously enjoyed robust ratings on Latin American television networks in Ecuador via TC Televisión, in Peru through Panamericana Televisión, and in Dominican Republic on Color Vision.
The 2009 series, “Dahil May Isang Ikaw” (contextually translated as Corazones Cruzados), starring the beloved pairing of Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa, has also been dubbed in Spanish and is offered by ABS-CBN on YouTube. The International Emmy-nominated series for best telenovela in 2010 became the first Filipino content to air in Colombia in 2017 via its biggest free-to-air TV network Caracol.
The 2015 soap opera romance “Bridges of Love” (Puentes de Amor) became the first Philippine drama to air in Latin America by way of Panamericana Televisión in Peru in 2016. Starring teleserye heavyweights Jericho Rosales, Paulo Avelino and Maja Salvador, the emotionally charged romantic and action-packed plot about two brothers divided by fate and hatred then brought together by the woman they both love charted an impressive 26% audience share increase in May 2016 in Peru, surpassing its timeslot competition.
