Rachel Peters, Migz Villafuerte got married
Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters tied the knot with Camarines Sur Governor Migz Villafuerte in a civil wedding ceremony.
Photos from the ceremony, which was held at the Supreme Court, were shared by the couple on social media on Saturday, July 17.
“Celebrated 7 years together by making it official,” Rachel said.
Migz, meanwhile, said, “You are my dream woman. I can’t wait to marry you again next year with all our family, friends and most especially our little one coming soon.”
A few days ago, Rachel already posted a photo of them together where they were both seen wearing their wedding rings.
Rachel and Migz got engaged in November 2019. Because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the two had to postpone their wedding.
“Cancelled wedding (for now), all businesses suffering and millions of people terrified of where this is headed and how to keep their loved ones safe,” she said in an Instagram post in March 2020, as she also reminded everyone to be “extra cautious.”
In May 2021, Rachel announced that she is pregnant with their first child.
Flaunting her baby bump in a beach photo, she said, “18 weeks of growing and loving you. You’re a dream come true our little chickpea.”
It was then revealed in a vlog that the couple is expecting a baby girl.
This recent Father’s Day, Rachel wrote a message to Migz, telling him that he is “going to be the greatest dad” to their child.
