Total Covid-19 recoveries now at 467K: DOH
MANILA – The Department of Health (DOH) on Friday reported 250 new recoveries from the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), with the country’s total recoveries now at 467,720 or 91.7 percent of the country’s 509,887 total cases.
In its daily Covid-19 bulletin, the DOH also reported 2,178 new Covid-19 cases, bringing the country’s active cases to 32,031 or 6.3 percent of the country’s total cases.
Out of the 24,134 Covid-19 tests completed on Thursday, it said 1,311 or 5.4 percent tested positive.
Out of the new cases, most were reported from Quezon City with 148, followed by Bulacan with 88, Cebu City with 80, Davao City with 79, and Mountain Province with 75.
Of the active cases, the majority were those with mild symptoms at 83.6 percent, followed by the asymptomatic at 9.5 percent, those in critical condition at 4.1 percent, those with severe symptoms at 2.3 percent, and those with moderate symptoms at 0.42 percent.
It reported 20 new deaths, with the country’s total Covid-19 casualties now at 10,136 or 1.99 percent of all cases.
To date, many Covid-19 facilities remain available country-wide, with the 2,100 beds at intensive care units at 59 percent availability, 16,800 isolation beds at 64 percent availability, 8,100 ward beds at 74 percent availability, and 2,100 ventilators at 79 percent availability.
