MANILA – The Commission on Elections (Comelec) has joined the appeal for donations for the people of the Bicol Region that were badly hit by Super Typhoon Rolly.

Comelec spokesperson James Jimenez said Thursday those who have initiated the ‘Radyo Comelec sa Quarantalk’, a weekly public affairs program, will be holding a fund-raising webcast to call for donations on November 7.

“The upcoming episode on Saturday is dedicated exclusively to this fund-raising webcast entitled ‘Tindog! We Stand With Bicol,’” he said in a statement. “Viewers are in for a night of musical performances from kind souls inside and outside of the poll body who have graciously volunteered their talents to this special webcast.
