MANILA – Oil firms have announced a rollback in their prices which takes effect Tuesday morning.
In separate advisories, Cleanfuel, Petro Gazz, Seaoil, and Shell will slash gasoline prices by PHP0.80 per liter, and diesel prices by PHP0.85 per liter.
Seaoil and Shell said they will reduce prices of kerosene by PHP0.70 per liter.
For two consecutive weeks, oil firms rolled back prices of diesel and kerosene products.
Meanwhile, prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) for November increased by PHP2.84 to PHP3.20 per kilogram. This means that prices of a standard 11-kilogram LPG tank went up by PHP31.24 to PHP35.20 this month.
AutoLPG also increased by PHP1.80 per liter.
The Department of Energy announced Sunday evening that there is a 15-day price freeze for household LPG and kerosene in the entire province of Cavite after the local government placed the province under state of calamity due to Super Typhoon Rolly.
