Assunta de Rossi to baby: I’ve waited for her almost 20 years

At 37, Assunta De Rossi-Ledesma is at her ninth month of pregnancy of her very first child, her miracle baby, Fiore.

The actress definitely could not contain all the joy as she shared to her Instagram followers the excitement. A sonogram posted on Thursday had Assunta teasing her ‘hiding’ baby and calling her “maldita (snobby).”

“It’s OK. Pretty soon, I’ll see her face-to-face. I’ve waited for her almost 20 years, ano ba naman yung ilang araw pa (how can I not wait for a few more days)? I love you, my tiny bloom!” the mom-to-be wrote.

As she counted every tick and tock of the clock and every day of the week, Assunta shared bits of her pregnancy journey with the occasional baby bump posts, checkup scenarios during this health-protocol-locked pandemic, and the toys waiting to welcome Baby Fiore.

Her family, friends, and followers do not forget to shower her posts with their support, excitement, and of course safety prayers and wishes for her and her baby.

Assunta first shared the news of her pregnancy in May. Amidst the quarantine, the actress has been “enduring” the likes of fatigue, nausea, tender and swollen breasts, food versions, constipation, dizziness and heartburn. Aside from all these, there was also a missed period.

Wide awake. This has been my life even before quarantine started— just being in bed all day, feeling horrible. And before anyone asks why I look like I’m on my way to the afterlife, allow me to list down all the symptoms I’ve had to endure this past 2 months: ✔️ Fatigue ✔️ Nausea ✔️ Tender, swollen breasts ✔️ Food aversions ✔️ Constipation ✔️ Dizziness ✔️ Heartburn On March 5, 2020, I paid a visit to my OB-GYN after not seeing him for 3 plus years. Why? I had missed my period. An ultrasound scan and blood test confirmed later that day that I was about 5 weeks pregnant. I know, shocking! Getting pregnant the natural way with myoma and endometriosis (which I both have) is extremely difficult. Only medical intervention or a miracle can make it happen. This was a miracle!❤️🙏🏻❤️ Anyway, what scares me now is I’m already on my 14th week, and I haven’t gained an ounce of weight. Everything I eat goes to my tummy and ( . )( . ) 😆 What about you? How’s quarantine been treating you? Comment down below with your boobie emoji. Charzzz!!! 🤣 #MiracleBaby #14weekspregnant #Haggardo

The results of an ultrasound scan and blood test was “shocking” for her.

Assunta tied the knot with Jules Ledesma in December 2002.
