3 suspects yield P200-M shabu in Parañaque, Taguig
MANILA – Authorities have seized more than PHP200 million worth of shabu and arrested three suspects in separate buy-bust operations in the cities of Parañaque and Taguig, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.
In a press statement, Brig. Gen. Armando de Leon, director of the PNP-Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG), said Suboh Omal Abdul, 29, and Alvin Abdul Amiril, 40, were arrested during a buy-bust operation around 6:32 p.m. Wednesday at a salon in Barangay Don Bosco, Parañaque City,
Abdul and Amiril yielded around 12 kilograms of shabu estimated worth PHP81.6 million.
A follow-up operation was set to lure the supplier of the suspects to make another delivery.
At around 10 p.m. in a residential area in Taguig City, the supplier identified as Ebrahim Dimakiling, 33, online seller, made a delivery that led to his arrest and confiscation of more or less 18 kilograms of shabu worth PHP122.4 million.
The three suspects will be facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
