Zayn Malik, Gigi Hadid announce birth of ‘healthy, beautiful’ daughter

Congratulatory messages keep pouring in for Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid who just announced the birth of their first child.
The former One Direction member delighted netizens across the globe on Thursday morning (Manila time) as he revealed that the supermodel has finally given birth to a “healthy and beautiful” baby girl.
As much as he tried to express through words the feeling of finally being a parent, Zayn said doing it so right now “would be an impossible task.
”
“The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding,” the 27-year-old singer wrote, as he shared a black-and-white photo of his baby’s little hand holding tightly to his finger.
“Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together,” he added.
Also sharing a black-and-white photo of her daughter’s hand, Gigi said, “Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world.
So in love.”

Gigi has shared a series of photos of her growing baby bump on her Instagram account. Prior to the birth announcement, her last post was photos of her on her 27th week of pregnancy, saying “time flew” in the caption.

Her mother, Yolanda, also took to Instagram to share her excitement on the birth of her grandchild.
“Waiting patiently for her angel to be born……
” Yolanda wrote, while posting a photo of her embracing Gigi’s tummy.

The 25-year-old supermodel confirmed she’s expecting her first child in a virtual interview with Jimmy Fallon’s “The Tonight Show” in April.
Hadid thanked Fallon for congratulating her, adding that they hoped they could have announced the wonderful news “in our own terms.”
“We’re very excited and happy and grateful for everyone’s well wishes and support,” she said.
