Overseas Pinoys with Covid-19 now 10,390

MANILA – The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) on Sunday reported four more Filipinos abroad contracting the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19), pushing the total tally to 10,390.

In its latest case bulletin, the DFA also reported no new recoveries and no new deaths.

The number of recovered cases remains 6,594 and the death toll, 777.

“No reports were received from the Americas, Europe, and the Middle East,” the DFA said.

Meanwhile, about 3,019 Filipinos abroad are still undergoing treatment.

“With over 185,000 OFs repatriated by the DFA since February 2020, the department remains fully committed to monitoring the situation of overseas Filipinos who are affected by the pandemic and remains steadfast in promoting and protecting their welfare, bringing them home, whenever possible,” the department said.
