Giving away 50 BIKES to 50 deserving people. Because a BIKE can spell the difference between keeping a livelihood or not. If you are in need of 1, you may APPLY via the LINK on my BIO. You may also nominate someone lalo na kung wala silang internet but we’ll go through the same verification process. We’ll be giving these away after MECQ. This took quite some time because we had them shipped from abroad, but I’ve used them and both mountain & folding bikes are of good quality. Special thanks to @specializedqc for helping me procure these! DONATE A BIKE, SAVE A JOB. To live through this pandemic, ingenuity and resourcefulness are some of the things that people are equipping themselves with; thus, the birth of traveling to work by bicycles. However, for most, bikes are still not that affordable especially with the expenses going to more essential things.

Fortunately, Gretchen Ho’s on the way to give away 50 bikes to 50 deserving people, “because a bike can spell the difference between keeping a livelihood or not.”

In posts on her various social media accounts, volleyball player-turned-host announced that people in need of a bike may apply through the links she has provided.

“If you are in need of 1, you may APPLY via the LINK on my BIO. You need to JUSTIFY WHY YOU ARE DESERVING, and you need to show proof when my team contacts you,” she wrote.

Gretchen also opened the option of nominating someone else who deserves the bike “lalo na kung wala silang (especially if they have no access to) internet but we’ll go through the same verification process.”

According to her post, the bikes will be distributed after the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ.)

The TV host shared that the project took quite a while as these were shipped from abroad. She assured that she has used these and that both mountain and folding bikes are of “good quality.”

Her post also extends to people interested in contributing or being part of the project – DONATE A BIKE, SAVE A JOB. Interested individuals may send her a message on her accounts or send her an email at her email address, gretchen@womaninaction.ph

“Let’s empower people to continue fighting for their dreams by giving them a ride!” she ended her post.
