Vancouver police found missing 85-year-old man with dementia — report

The 85-year-old man with dementia who went missing since Sunday in Vancouver was already found by police.

According to news reports on Monday, August 3, the senior identified as Stephen Siu Kai Cheung has already been taken to a hospital for assessment but it was unclear what was his condition and where he was located.

Cheung is a 5’11” tall Asian man with a slim build and short gray hair. He speaks Cantonese and knows some basic English. The police said he has been residing in the area of West 64th Avenue and Oak Street and frequents businesses in the area along the south end of Granville Street.
