Several months after he revealed that he will be part of an upcoming South Korean film, “The Golden Holiday,” seasoned actor Mon Confiado posted some photos of what the audience could look forward to in the movie.

On his social media accounts, Confiado, shared a few stills of the action-adventure-crime movie directed by Kim Bong-han. The stills included a scene where Confiado, wearing a police officer uniform, was seen on his knees with his mouth bleeding.

According to the actor, the movie tells the story of a laid-back countryside detective Byung-su, played by Kwak Do-won, who brings his family to the Philippines to celebrate his 10th wedding anniversary. However, Byung-su has another reason as to why he took his family to the Philippines: it is to look for his old friend Young-bae, played by Kim Sang-ho, who scammed him and then ran away. In the aforesaid country, Byung-su finds Yong-bae in prison for murder and learns about the case surrounding ‘Yamashita’s Gold.’ Byung-su suddenly becomes involved in the case when his old friend offers him a share of the Gold.

Also part of the cast are actors, Kim Dae-myung, Kim Hee-won, Shin Dong-mi, and Lee Yoo-jin-I.

Commenting on his post, his fans expressed how proud they are for the actor for making an appearance in an international film, and that they could not wait to watch it.

Confiado did not give the exact release date of the movie but said it will be out in South Korea this year.

Last March, the 52-year-old actor shared an Instagram post about the upcoming film, saying it was an “honor and privilege” for him to work with the “The Golden Holiday’s” cast.
