Another dream has come into reality for Kapuso comedian, TV host and actor Betong Sumaya as he launches his debut single under GMA Music titled “Nang Minahal Mo Ang Mahal Ko.”
Music has always been a big part of Betong’s life. No wonder, recording his music is definitely a feat for the Kapuso star.
“I am so thankful. Nag-uumapaw ang kaligayahan sa aking puso kasi pangarap ko talaga ito pero hindi ko alam kung paano maisasakatuparan hanggang sa nabigyan ako ng chance ng GMA Music. Isa na namang pangarap ko ang natupad. Thank you, Lord. Hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala. Hindi naman din kasi lahat nabibigyan ng chance kaya I’m very thankful sa GMA Network, GMA Artist Center, at sa GMA Music,” says Betong.
Betong shares that this novelty song evokes deep emotions that go straight to the heart, “Punung-puno ng hugot yung kanta kasi ‘yung mahal mo ay minahal ng bestfriend mo o ng taong malapit sayo tapos sila ang nagkatuluyan.
Siguro minsan sa buhay ng iba sa atin ay naranasan na ‘yun.”
He also gave a piece of advice to those who are brokenhearted, “Try to let go pero at the same time, unti-unti mo ‘yang matatanggap. Kung hindi talaga para sa’yo, hindi talaga para sa’yo.
Ipag-pray na lang natin na darating din yung tamang tao para sa atin.”
