Billy Crawford, Coleen Garcia are going to be parents!
Adding to the list of good news being reported during these trying times is Billy Crawford and his wife, Coleen Garcia, announcing that their baby number one is on the way!
The celebrity couple confirmed this on separate posts on Instagram on Friday, May 1, saying that Coleen is five months pregnant.
“I can’t even express the joy of this day! I’ve been waiting to scream it out to the world. Yes! My gorgeous wife and I are having a baby!!!!!” Billy wrote in the caption of his post, along with a photo of him and Coleen.
“Been praying to God for this, and for years, the answer was “not yet”. Fast forward to today, and God has blessed us in His perfect timing,” he continued.
Meanwhile, on her post, Coleen said that she has been pregnant since December 2019 but it was only earlier this year when they learned about it.
Sharing a picture of her and Billy, a sonogram, and a photo and video clip of her showing her blossoming baby bump, Coleen said despite everything that has been happening, perhaps pertaining to the coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic that the world is currently battling, they “got to start this year with an unbeatable glimmer of HOPE that we continue to hang on to and treasure.”
“It’s enough to make every day much better,” she said.
“I know we all didn’t expect to be where we are at this moment, but just know and trust that God is at work in each of our lives, even in times of uncertainty,” she added.
Coleen continues to be hopeful, even though she admitted that her being pregnant in this time of crisis “may be scary.”
“Our journey, so far, has given us enough confidence and assurance that everything is going to be absolutely great!” she said.
Billy and Coleen, who were both former hosts of ABS-CBN’s noontime show It’s Showtime, exchanged vows in a beach wedding at Balesin Island in April 2018. The couple celebrated their first wedding anniversary in Bali, Indonesia, while they recently marked the second one most likely at home, as the enhanced community quarantine is being enforced to contain the spread of the virus.
