Bela Padilla’s movie lineup is going stronger when we will see more of her on the big screen. This time with a Korean actor as her partner.

Bela’s been breaking hearts and making people cry with JC Santos through the three films they starred in together, with On Vodka, Beers and Regret as their latest. She was also recently part of the Filipino adaptation of the Korean movie Miracle in Cell No. 7 which was an entry for the Metro Manila Film Fest last year. This time, she will be taking the role of Yana, a Filipina who is a fan of Korean stars in the romantic comedy film “Ultimate Oppa.”

She already flew to South Korea to start filming with Korean actor Kim Gun-Woo, who will play Jay, a manager of a Hallyu star.

Viva Artists Agency shared photos of the two on Facebook on Thursday, February 20.

“Ultimate Oppa” is a joint project between Viva Entertainment and Reality Entertainment and will have shooting locations both in the Philippines and South Korea.

Aside from the mentioned movies, Bela will also be the lead for the local adaptation of the Korean movie “Spellbound”.

Gun-Woo was part of the 2017 series “Fight for My Way.”
