Kathryn Bernardo delivers special message to KathNiel fans

Kapamilya actress Kathryn Bernardo paid back some love to fans of KathNiel, her love team with her real-life boyfriend Daniel Padilla, through dedicating a tribute video to them.

The 23-year-old actress posted a 3-minute video on her Instagram account, showing snippets of their fans on the ABS-CBN Christmas Special last December 10 at the Araneta Coliseum.

Wearing matching fan shirts and holding up props such as banners and posters, different KathNiel fan clubs can be seen patiently waiting for the couple to arrive at the venue.

“‘Yung preparation pong ginawa namin is napakatagal, ilang buwan po namin ginawa ‘yung mga props namin. Ginagawa po namin lahat ng iyon para kay Kathryn, para po mapasaya siya, para makita niya kung gaano po namin siya kamahal (Our preparation took so long, we worked on the props for months. We are doing all of these for Kathryn, to make her happy, and to show her how we love her),” one of the fans said in the video.

Reacting to this, Kathryn could not thank their fans enough for the love and support they showered her and Daniel since the beginning.

“Alam namin na hindi madali yung pinagdadaanan niyo para lang masuportahan kami (We know that what you are doing just to support us is not easy). This video is just a snippet of your hard work and sacrifices, and I know it doesn’t give justice to the credit you rightfully deserve but still we want you to know this: We see you, we feel you, and we appreciate you. Behind the success of every celebrity is a dedicated fandom—and whatever success we have today, we owe it all to you,” Kathryn wrote in the caption.

“To our KathCakes, Solid DJPs, and KathNiels, seeing all of you united makes us so happy. DJ and I couldn’t be prouder to tell the world that we belong to these fandoms. Thank you for showering us with your love and energy as we performed on stage,” she continued.

Kathryn said this year is their ninth Christmas special together but their fans never get tired of cheering them all throughout.

The actress added that she and Daniel are proud of how their fans treat and protect each other as if they are a family.

“You are more than what we deserve and what we could ever ask for.

Maraming salamat sa inyong lahat!

Mahal namin kayo (Thank you so much! We love you),” she said.

The couple is one of the sought-after stars in the country’s entertainment industry. The two have starred in a string of box office hits like Can’t Help Falling in Love, Barcelona: A Love Untold, and The Hows of Us.
