Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach confirms split with Marlon Stockinger

Pia Wutzbach confirmed her split with race car driver Marlon Stockinger, ending their three-year relationship, according to reports.

Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) reported that Miss Universe 2015’s business manager, Rika Infantado-Hernandez, has verified that the two have officially broken up after their on-and-off relationship.

“Yes, it’s confirmed and you can quote me on that,” said Rikka through a text message sent to PEP.ph on December 5.

Pia’s manager added that the two ex-lovers have been separated even before the beauty queen’s 30th birthday celebrated in Bali, Indonesia last September.

According to the same report, a source close to the model also confirmed that the reason for the couple’s break up was because of Marlon being out of work in his career as a race car driver.

The Miss Universe 2015’s relationship with her partner of the past three years has been pelted with several claims of their split only for them to deny the rumors. However, the beauty queen nodded to the news of their break up through a statement sent to the ABS-CBN News.

In the statement, Pia also cleared speculations that Marlon and his family depended on her financially.

“It’s true that Marlon and I are no longer together. I wish him and his family well, and out of respect for them, let me make it clear – Marlon and his family never depended on me financially. This will be my only statement on the matter. Thank you for your support,” the statement read.

The ex-couple has unfollowed each other and deleted their photos together on their Instagram pages.
