Forty-three-year-old Jose Marie Borja Viceral, better known as Vice Ganda, clarifies to his fans the reason for his absence from ABS-CBN noontime variety show “It’s Showtime” for the past three days, revealing hospitalization due to diarrhea and vomiting.

The comedian tweets last Wednesday, July 3 saying in a mix of English and Filipino, “Thank you very much to all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of The Medical City for taking good care of me for 3 days.
