Decade 4 Begins

The Philippine Artists Group of Canada (PAG) presents another collection of artworks starting June 24 to July 19, at the Neilson Creative Art Centre, 56 Neilson Drive, Etobicoke. This will be the group’s 31st Anniversary Annual Exhibition.

Participating artists include well-known and emerging artists from the Filipino-Canadian community, each artist having passed PAG’s strict membership screening. Many have garnered awards and most have years, if not decades, of expertise. Expect to see various subjects from traditional realism to modern abstractions in different styles using watercolours, oils, and acrylics, etc.

The Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, June 27, at 6 PM. New feature this year is an Auction to be held during the Opening Reception, where approximately 14 paintings will be offered, and members of the public can bid for the painting/s of their choice.

Participating artists: Rolly Abarilla, Teody Asuncion, Joyce Bondoc, Erwin Calianga, Frank Cruzet, Jhun Ciolo Diamante, Peter Duarte, Alex Gonzales, Gene Lopos, Romi C MananQuil, Rose Nagallo, Maridi Nivera, Nerissa Pineda, Michelle Chermaine Ramos, Frank Tonido and Nelia Tonido.

 

Key dates:

Opening Reception and Auction: Thursday, June 27, 2019, 6:00 PM.

Exhibit Dates: June 24 to July 19, 2019. Neilson Creative Art Centre’s summer hours: Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 9am to 4:30 pm; Tuesday and Thursday, 9am to 9:30 pm. 56 Neilson Drive, Etobicoke. Gallery closed on weekends.
