Mavy and Cassy Legaspi, twins of actors Carmina Villarroel and Zoren Legaspi, have officially reached another milestone after their Oscar-themed 18th party last January, both graduating from Reedley International School in Pasig City last Sunday, June 2.

The ceremony was held at the Henry Lee Irwin Theater inside Ateneo de Manila University in Quezon City, with proud mom Carmina uploading a slideshow for her two million Instagram followers of her children in their togas captioned, “Congratulations Mavy and Cassy! You are both an achiever. We are so proud of you guys… and so the adventure begins. Good luck Legaspi twins.”

Cassy posts a photo with her medal on her own social media the next day, saying “Out of high school and on to better things,” while brother Mavy goes on his stories to simply say, “Peace out, high school.” Yet, he also reveals in a separate post that playing in a team sport is actually one of the biggest aspects of his education, adding an image with his teammates, explaining, “Leaving high school still in our basketball shoes.

The duo have yet to announce if pursuing university is in their foreseeable future, but the two did sign a contract entering the GMA 7 Kapuso family last October 2018.  They share that “signing with GMA is a blessing,” but “growing up, [their parents] weren’t really open to the idea of [them] entering showbusiness.” Mavy tells the press, “But, Cassy and I, since we’re maturing, we also have to make our own decisions in our life.
