MANILA— Senatorial candidate Glenn Chong on Monday stormed the temporary Commission on Elections (Comelec) headquarters in Pasay City, claiming he lost his votes in six areas during the mid-term polls.

Chong said individuals who voted for him received their voter’s receipts without his name on the paper. This allegedly took place in the cities and provinces of Cagayan, Biliran, Manila, Iloilo, Batangas and Cagayan de Oro.

“In Cagayan, there were many,” Chong said but refused to disclose details, even the total number of persons who reported the case of his deleted name.

“We are only going to say the places because I want the Comelec to come out first with the data,” he said.

Chong had a closed-door meeting with Comelec officials, including spokesperson James Jimenez, who asked him to file an official complaint.

Chong said his camp will be drafting the letter and will submit it to the poll body on Tuesday.

In one of the said reports forwarded to him, Chong claimed that a voter from Biliran chose him and senatorial bet Mar Roxas, but only the latter’s name appeared in the voter’s receipt.
