Canadian singer Shawn Mendes will be back to rock Manila for another concert to be held six months from now.

The good news was announced by one of the concert promoters in the country, the Music Management International (MMI) Live on Tuesday, April 23, through its social media accounts.

“What’s up Manila! It’s Shawn Mendes and I can’t wait to come back to see you all at the Mall of Asia on October 10. I’ll see you soon. Take care. I love you guys,” Shawn said, revealing details of his concert in a video posted by Rhiza Pascua of MMI Live on Twitter.

His Manila concert is part of the #ShawnMendesTheTourAsia which will start in Bangkok, Thailand on October 1, followed by Singapore on October 4, Kuala Lumpur on October 5, Jakarta, Indonesia on October 8, Philippines, and then Macau, China on October 13. His tour will end in Tokyo, Japan on October 16.

Filipinos who are part of Shawn’s Army could not get a hold of themselves over the announcement as they share their excitement on Twitter, making the 20-year-old artist be on the list of trending topics in the country.

Tickets to Shawn’s concert will be available at mmilive.com on May 4. Prices are as follows: Platinum (P8,900), Patron (P8,400), Patron Center (P7,900), Lower Box A Premium (P7,900), Lower Box A Regular (P7,400), Lover Box B Premium (P6,900), Lower Box B Regular (P6,400), Upper Box Premium (P5,200), Upper Box Regular (P4,600), and General Admission (P2,200).

Shawn was in Manila last March 2017 for his solo concert at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, where he serenaded his fans with his hits “Treat You Better,” “Stitches,” and “Mercy,” among others.

After singing the last song on his concert, the singer-songwriter made a promise to his Filipino fans, whom he earlier said was one of the “loudest crowds in the world,” that he will be back soon to the Philippines.

“SHAWN MENDES IS COMING TANSHJWJSJA TALAGAAAA TINUPAD NYA PROMISE NYA NAIIYAK AKO (He fulfilled his promise, I’m crying),” netizen @swiftieharts tweeted.
