Singer Saab Magalona has revealed last Monday, April 8 throughout an Instagram post that she is pregnant with her second child with husband Jim Bacarro.

In the post to her 564,000 followers, the 30-year-old shares a photo of her baby bump carrying one-year-old baby boy Pancho captioned, “Kuya Pancho can’t hide his excitement!” Numerous celebrities were quick to congratulate the family, including news anchor Iya Villania, sisters Megan Young and Lauren Young, and newly-engaged Dani Barretto.

The couple’s first baby Pancho, or ‘Panchito Burrito’ to his Instagram followers, celebrated his birthday last February. His twin sister passed away on February 8, 2018 due to miscarriage, while the delivery of Saab’s son was difficult as well – with the baby spending days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and Saab herself “in and out” of the Intensive Care Unit.

In memory of her daughter, whom she named Luna Isabel, that passed away, Saab released a song and started a fund. She expresses her thoughts in a blog post entitled “Heartbroken, but hopeful,” saying that losing a child “might be the hardest thing [she’s] ever had to write.” Saab shares, “We are taking it one day at a time, focusing on all the good things we are blessed with. I am still alive, I have a strong and loving husband, and God has shown us so many miracles through our little boy.” “Despite this tragedy,” she adds, “We have encountered so many heroes and kind people. This whole time, we’ve been nervous about bringing children into this scary world and in an instant, our world was turned upside down. If you look hard enough, this doesn’t have to be such a scary world after all,” concluding, “I know we’ll make it through.”

Saab is also the daughter of iconic Filipino rapper Francis Magalona, while her husband Jim is the vocalist of band Cheats. She reveals that around the time she lost her baby girl, she was celebrating her father’s ninth death anniversary.
