Kapuso actor Migo Adecer freed after posting bail
StarStruck’s “ultimate male survivor” Migo Adecer walked out from detention on Wednesday, March 28, after he posted bail for cases slapped against him in connection with a hit-and-run incident in Makati City that left two employees of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) injured.
In a statement issued by Migo’s legal counsel, lawyer Marie Glen Abraham-Garduque said the actor has “learned a lot” from the incident which she described as “not a good experience” for Migo.
It was on Tuesday when Migo was arrested by the Makati City Police after his white Subaru BRZ hit the two MMDA personnel, Rogelio Castillano and Michelle Gallova, who were then riding a motorcycle.
The police said Migo tried to escape from the scene which prompted them to chase the actor along Barangay Poblacion in Makati City.

Migo, who was drunk at the time of the incident according to the police, was charged for reckless imprudence resulting in physical injuries, damage to properties, and disobedience to a person in authority.
Marie said her client wants to apologize and thank the victims “who are kind enough to forgive him and decided to desist in filing any legal action against him,” adding that the actor is willing to help them financially.
The GMA Artist Center, meanwhile, earlier said that it is “closely monitoring” the incident involving their talent.
“He is willing to assist the two people injured and his lawyer is now coordinating with them. We defer to Migo’s lawyer to address all legal matters regarding this incident,” it said.
Migo made his name in the country’s entertainment world after he won in the sixth season of StarStruck, a reality talent competition, in 2015. Since then, he has starred in some Kapuso television series and has released four singles under GMA records.
