Andi Eigenmann announces gender of her baby
Twenty-eight-year-old actress Andi Eigenmann has shared with the public that she is pregnant with a baby girl as her first child with surfer boyfriend Philmar Alipayo.
As seen on her social media accounts last Saturday, March 9, Andi threw a “gender reveal” party for their loved ones where guests played a game of tic-tac-toe where “first to three of the same color is the gender.” Her mother, Jaclyn Jose, popped the last balloon of the game that revealed the couple will be having a daughter. In one decoration of the party, a poster asked guests, “Pro Surfer or Mermaid, what will our baby be?” Prior to the game, the couple already knew the gender of their baby and gave a very telling clue by both of them wearing pink.
Andi announced her pregnancy with her second baby last February. When announcing that she was almost 15 weeks pregnant at the time, Andi elaborates on social media, “Been adjusting slowly but surely to my ‘new life. The journey has been so exciting yet scary at the same time, but we have been so happy and at peace nevertheless. Still wouldn’t have my life any other way,” adding, “We are now on our way to moving to our new island home where my growing family will make more joyful memories together…
and I cannot wait.” The actress also has a daughter with former boyfriend, Jake Ejercito, named Ellie, who was born November 2011.
At 15 weeks pregnant, Andi went to Bali for a bachelorette party without her boyfriend and daughter. At 19 weeks, she shared a post in honor of international women’s day, elaborating, “I look at myself right now a little over 19 weeks into my pregnancy and definitely looking and feeling rounder. One thing has remained the same: my self- worth.
It took me a while, but now I am able to define beauty for myself and I feel this way regardless of what shape I am in, and regardless of what others think! What motivates me to keep a mindset like this is the hope that by being the best version of myself.” She concludes, “Happiness is not something I found, it is something I have created for myself, because it’s what I deserve.”
