Thirty-six year-old Filipina dancer, actress, and recording artist Rochelle Pangilinan, also known under her rap name RoC, has officially given birth to her first child via Cesarean section at The Medical City in Ortigas, Pasig last Sunday, February 24.

The former SexBomb member and her husband Arthur Solinap has confirmed that their new baby girl officially weighs and seven pounds, both parents still contemplating on the baby’s name. Arthur expresses in Filipino, “We have a list, but we haven’t chosen the final name.” During her baby shower a few months ago, Rochelle also reveals, “What my husband wants is ‘Shiloh’ meaning ‘His gift’ in the Bible. As for me, I have plenty of choices, like Elisha. I like Elisha, but I also like Bliss because it means perfect joy, supreme joy,” adding, “We’re still praying about the actual name.” While they have yet to confirm their decision, Arthur reports that Rochelle is doing well and that she is “just recovering.”

The couple got married in 2017 at a star-studded wedding in Tagaytay after being together for nine years. Arthur initially proposed at Balay Indang Resort in Cavite where the couple met. They announced their pregnancy in August 2018 through a photo of their ultrasound, which captioned, “God answers when you least expect it… in HIS perfect time!”

Rochelle and Arthur unveiled the gender of their baby three months later through a gender reveal thrown in Japan. Through a video posted on her social media, Rochelle states in a mix of English and Filipino, “Thank you God! Whatever you pray for, that it what is given to you! I cannot believe your gift for us! A lot of people also commented on my accounts and my friends told us that it was a baby girl! Yes, you guys are correct!”
