MANILA– The Department of Tourism (DOT) is opening an express accreditation stop for primary tourism enterprises in the National Capital Region (NCR) from February 18 to 22 and from February 26 to 27.

In an announcement Friday, the DOT said the initiative, in coordination with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG), is part of the ongoing “Save Manila Bay” rehabilitation program with strong participation of the tourism sector.

The DOT Express Accreditation will serve as one-stop shop to be administered by the DOT Office of Tourism Standards and Regulation (OTSR) and DOT-NCR Office at various local government unit sites.

The DOT is encouraging tourism establishments that secured prior environmental compliance clearances and operational permits from the DILG to avail of the service.

The next DOT Accreditation Express will be conducted in Regions 3 (Central Luzon) and 4A (Calabarzon), on dates to be announced later.

For inquiries, DOT urges all concerned to contact the DOT-NCR Office or the DOT Office of Tourism Standards and Regulation at 459-5200 (to 5230), local 108 and 216.
